Homes Madison City Schools

In July 2023, Realtor.com listed 293 single-family homes “in the district” of Madison City Schools. The starting price was $159K for an 1875 sq ft three-story “fixer-upper” built in 1967 on a .42 acre lot in the Nolandale subdivision. For $4M, a 9500 sq ft two-story luxury estate was built in 2021 on a 1.56-acre lot in the Belle Grove subdivision. Both provide an opportunity for a world-class education.

Madison County School District is ranked the best in the state. It scores an “A” or higher for academics, sports, and diversity and is fully college prep. It provides Pre-K and K-12 for approx. 12K+ students and ranks above average in math and reading. The graduation rate is 96%, and most graduates attend Auburn University or The University of Alabama. This is consistent with Madison being a bedroom community for many rocket scientists and NASA engineers in Huntsville.

A Rocket Homes market report for Madison County showed a 7.4% increase in property values year-over-year in June 2023. Despite the obvious incentive to sell, listings dropped 42.9%, and the time homes spend on the market increased by 10.3%. This is an ideal market to invest in homeownership for personal and financial prosperity. To get the best deal, consult with a local real estate professional.
